Whether you're launching a new initiative or growing an existing program, our goal is to help community leaders spend less time navigating paperwork and more time serving Baltimore.

What Is Fiscal Sponsorship?
Fiscal sponsorship is a partnership between an established nonprofit organization and a charitable project or emerging organization that has not yet obtained its own 501(c)(3) status.
Through fiscal sponsorship, organizations can receive administrative support while gaining access to opportunities that may otherwise be unavailable.
This allows leaders to focus on building programs, serving their communities, and growing their impact.

The Baltimore Cause believes some of the most meaningful solutions begin at the community level.
By providing fiscal sponsorship, we hope to empower emerging organizations that are creating healthier neighborhoods, expanding opportunities, and addressing challenges facing Baltimore communities.
